I think without James, Paul is seeing pretty much the other teams defense solely focused on him to disrupt his game. He needs to adjust and I’m sure he will. Having Harden out there will help free him up
Has had the team worse -/+ in the past two game... main reason we lost the last two. Man this contract is going to BITE US IN THE ASS very, very soon. Maybe early as next season. This sucks. I don't know what is going on.
Imagine a few years down the road when you're paying him 50 million and he's playing 20-25 minutes a game at the age of 36
Maybe he's tankin' it because he wants to goto LA? Maybe if we end up like .500 or worse he demands a trade to LebronA
I’ll take Ingram and Kuzma for him in a nano second but why would magic want to lose his cap space he created for 2019 mega free agency on a broken down has been midget?
way to be a rockets fan.. calling cp3 a broken down has been midget?? after everything he did last postseason... and you'd really rather have kuzma and that transgender ingram? i can think of so many other players i'd rather have than those two dipshits
At this point, I would. If Harden comes back and perhaps reinjures himself again it could, in fact, be time to tank. If Brooklyn and Chicago win this team will be on the tipping point. If you can't win now how the hell are you supposed to in the next few years as Paul gets older and his salary rises at the same time.
I am quite sure that Morey (and Tilman) did not expect Chris Paul's performance would be up to the value of his contract through its length. Given his injury history, if he could play at last season's level for two of his four years, it would be pretty good. He was locked up mainly for his leadership and his potential clout in recruiting free agents. Another thing I am sure the management was banking on was Harden's health. He has been very durable so far. This is the only early season injury in his career. (Correct me if I am wrong.) Personally I think the signing is very risky and potentially can set the team back for several years and thereby wasting Harden's prime.
