Not a fan of the Brewer deal, but this is great value here.

lol. This guy understands our cap situation and the salary cap rules very well.

Gotta love when the uninformed complain.

Im with you. Get a Reggie Jackson or another guard as well and I would feel very secure at the point especially if the Rocks re-sign Terry as well.

Good deal for the Rockets. I just hope he can play a full injury free season next year.

I get that Brewer isn't the greatest 3-point shooter, but Beverley has consistently shot 35-37 percent from beyond the arc and is hardly one of the worst shooters in the NBA.

Also, I don't think you understand how the cap works. Houston was able to spend that much money on them because they owned their Bird rights and could spend over the cap to re-sign them. Morey couldn't have just spent $14 million on a free agent outright with their given cap situation. He would have had to shed a ton of cap beforehand. And even then, what players out there would have made them better for that amount of money than Bev and Brewer combined?

Beverley is an elite guard, defensively. Almost seems like Morey got a hometown discount.

Bev is the type of player you want on the team, he is our Draymond Green.
He shouldn't be a starter, I think if we can get Collison it'd be great, but you want a guy like Patrick.
Imagine him against cp3 and steph this past year.
    Glad he's back.

Not bad, but he should be a backup.

Good deal for the Rockets. Whether or not Beverley starts or is the back up he fits in well with these Rockets.

You should go into your job on Monday and offer to take a paycut for the good of the company.

Or, you know, be human and take what you feel you're worth.

I think Parsons deal last year and Moreys deal with Lin and Asik has changed DMs thinking on restricted free agents.
