    The only thing that makes me mad about this deal is that Brewer is getting paid more!

    Great contract if Beverley from 2013 shows up, not great if its the injury riddled and inconsistent one from 2014.

    I'm wondering what other teams would have offered Beverley even the 3yr 15, maybe the Knicks or Mavs.

    I really like Bev and I'm glad he got his financial security but I only like this deal if we 1. Somehow pull a off a miracle and sign LMA. 2. Bev is a heavy mins backup and we trade for a playmaker like Lawson/ Lowry/ Bledsoe.

    Could be. His mom has a salon here, the Rockets are a good team and rescued him from the Ukraine. Could be a bit of a hometown discount there.

    This was a crucial signing with lack of PGs available. Hopefully, he plays well next season if not he'll be a good trading asset for better PG.
