    Awesome

Ball movement was brilliant, but his instant defensive presence was even more important. With him in the fold, we might start playing defense again.

Josh has skill sets that this team really missed so it's good to have him back.

Where were you when I started a thread saying this in the offseason??? Look it up - it's something like "Josh Smith is Underrated." If you look at the stats in there, you will see you are right on! I don't know how to look up old threads like that. :(

He scored 2 points on 1-10 shooting against the Bucks...

Morey's belief in KJ caused lots of grief this season. Because of KJ, we lost out of Scola and Josh, probably cost McHale his job.

Josh does two things which we have been missing
    Defend
    Moves the ball

I like the move and I know he takes r****ded 3's at times but he was shooting better than ever last season when he was here for some reason. He also plays well with Dwight and gets him easy dunks and D12 does the same for him when they are on the floor together. I would much rather see those 2 dunking the ball than the other players shooting contested 3's and missing more than they make.

That's about all he did wrong. He was finding the open man, playing defense, and hustling for loose balls. And even the missed shots could be explained away by how crazy his day has been just getting to H-Town.

Try watching the game and not the box score.

Morey offered Smith more freaking money!

But I agree, If Josh Smith was on the roster Mchale would still be the coach.

Yeah, his shot selection wasn't bad at all. Just missed some easy ones that he'll usually make.

    Looked good overall.

No he didn't. He didn't offer him the entire MLE. KJ got 3M out of that.

He got a larger offer than what LA gave him.

Morey offered Smith more money than the Clippers!!!!!!!!!

Why should Josh get the whole MLE when he got bought out and sitting on piles of cash?

Sure, but he probably was disappointed that the Rockets didn't give him the max
that they could offer. All that is over now though, I am happy that Josh is back.
I was always concerned that we would struggle without him, despite his flaws.
Signing KJ was ok, but not at Josh's expense.

I agree, but it wasn't about the money with Josh it was about the role he wanted on the team.

Doc lied to Smith and Morey was honest. You saying Morey should have lied?
