    1. We gave up nothing for him to return
    2. He is getting paid less than we would have paid him
    3. He will now be motivated to play and stick it to the Clippers organisation

    Win situation as far as I'm concerned - low level risk, medium level reward.

    Lol, getting a veteran at a position of need who thrived in your system for next to nothing? TOTAL desperation move.

    What a joke. Morey wanted to bring Smith back, but he took less because he thought he had a more defined role with LAC.

    Well he comes in as the best defensive PF on the roster and one of the best overall defenders on the team. I wasn't high on the Rockets getting Smith last season because I thought what happened in LA would happen here, but for whatever reason, it worked. Let's hope it can work again.

    It was all a plot by Morey, let Smith walk, get him back for cheap. Sounds like when he tried to get Jeremy Lin back for cheap......
