Rockets rank 27th in assists per game, last year ranked 12th

That tells a lot about the current situation. I won't blame any players, but the coach, unless a player is making the coach to do it this way.

 

Yeah, but with sportsvu, you can look at "ft assists" per game. lin is 11th and next rocket is 50th - casspi.

I would have to go re-watch some games, but most of our fts probably come in isolation.

 

Part of the isolation is becauce of coach McHale's incompetence to run any real plays. A poor X's and O's coach who is always found out come crunch time.

 

I will not enjoy a game winned by ISOs.

 

I hate this kind of play. It's not that hard to pass the ball. I mean it's so obvious, when you pass the ball good things will happen then why go with ISO? Not only ISO, Harden takes very hard shots and not try drive to basket enough. Yes taking a 3PT shot is easier than drive and i think thats why Harden takes many of them.

 

Harden ISO ball. Making Beverley a starter also did nothing to help ball movement; which partly explains why Parsons and Asik start out cold.
