Do you think signing Marc Gasol to 4-years, $55M is a good deal for the Rockets?

Memphis is probably inclined to match the sheet, but if not, they can work a sign-and-trade with Rockets to get something for Gasol.

Why wouldn't they match? I wouldn't expect Memphis to cooperate.

Rox have roughly $7 million in cap room. Thabeet amnesty cut would make it $12 mil. A sign-and-trade @WojYahooNBA reported would save that.

A death sentence for them. They will have to just sign and trade.

Salary basically matches Kevin Martin's...I think we could still make a run for Nene.

i might have a screw loose but if they choose not to match it, why would we want to do a sign and trade with them?

Rockets actually will have $12.9 million in cap room, which is Gasol's max offer sheet.

Don't this small market team already have a ton of money tied up with ZBo, Gay and Conley?
