I like this thread because it's like checking to see if someone in your immediate family landed safely.
I think cause of the flight back from MEM it was pretty foggy that night, they probably diverted to IAH.
The team practiced this morning. To the best of my knowledge they(and most teams don't hold two-a-days). I believe they'll probably go straight to the hotel and have shootaround tomo.morning at Staples. Plus, with the shortened schedule filled with back to back to back's, two-a-days no matter how light wouldn't be a good idea.
Bump. Looks like our beloved Rockets will be leaving LA in a couple hours. Should be getting in to OKC around 7:15 this evening.
They Practiced this Morning before Heading to OKC. They will Be Loosing 2 Extra Hours due to time difference. I know the airplane is schedule for a hundred hour in March and its expected to go to KDAL (HQ for the Company). Im guessing it will be o the 27th-28th of March since thats when they fly into Dallas.
Looks Like OKC Uses Delta for Travel http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL8943/history/20120107/0430Z/KOKC/KHOU
Plane is Half way to SAT And It Looks like The Rockets will get in about 40 minutes ahead of San Antonio ( I was really hoping for an OT Game)- http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N104HR (rockets) http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL8949/history/20120111/0430Z/KMKE/KSAT (Spurs)
Looks like the Plane out of Dulles is delayed not only because of us, but the traffic congestion(airline traffic) in and out of d.c and because of security measures and certain T.F.R's (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over D.C at the moment, which requires special routing in and out of the city. Head Wins on the Way Back, DET are already in HOU enjoying MLK Day. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N104HR
an hour and forty minutes late into hobby for us, at least the Pistons Plane had hydraulic problems (hopefully it messes mentally with the players and staff)
Looks like we may be using a bigger plane for playoffs. It adds as advertisement to the Airline (Im guessing United/Continental) and im pretty sure the deal would be cheaper than using the 727.
Only valid for regular season, im pretty Sure the NBA has some Post-Season deals for those smaller market teams that would like to save money and travel in fashion. AKA not the Mavs or Heat.
the ONLY way this could be useful is if rockets used the plane to go talk to potential players they are looking to trade for .. i.e if the rockets are in houston and the plane is in New Orleans you have to wonder if kaman is getting an interview
Actually, we are throwing the plane is as Filling on any contract we trade for, to make up the difference and not using any of our "player assets".
