I put 2 tickets in my cart for section 113, $99 each. Went to put my credit card info in there, as I finished it told me I took too long and the tickets were gone, even though I had 35 seconds left on that counter at the top of the screen.

Went back to the main menu, my price range was gone and ended up buying tickets in the same section for $150 each. Oh we'll, it's worth it, the Toyota Center is going to be ROCKING on Friday night!

Oh, and I'm supposed to work Friday night at 10pm. Had to put in a Vacation Request which is still not confirmed yet, got my fingers crossed.

It's actually not bad compared to Warriors game 6 tickets. They are even more steep. It's a business. Supply and Demand.

I actually love playoff games in the upper bowl because get a bird's eye view of the entire arena when the crowd goes nuts. It's magical. Not to mention the gigantic video screen makes it like watching at home anyway.

Either way, when it comes to the playoffs it's just about being in the building for me. I'd sit in the rafters if I had to.

Maybe they heard Crawford is officiating, so they are capitalizing for our last game.

Maybe the fans should've bought tickets earlier. Maybe the Rockets put a value on selling tickets earlier and holding the cash earlier and you just happen to see the moment (right after the game) when that value was no longer there for the Rockets so they increased the ticket prices slightly to compensate.

Rafters would be pretty cool seats. Especially if they let me throw out the shirts on the parachutes like the early Toyota Center days.....

The whole NBA live game experience is something completely different in a playoff game of this magnitude. Your talking about a once in a lifetime experience. Of course they are going to increase their rates the further they go into the playoffs.

That's called supply and demand, and business in America. Every other team is doing the same thing right now. The extra 20 dollars is worth what will hopefully be the experience of a lifetime.

I secured season tickets for next season by putting 83 dollars down and secured my playoff tickets for this year. basically I'm paying $17 a seat for section 421. I don't get charged for the playoff tickets untill 10 days after the playoffs are over

    Welcome to the free market.

Teams reward fans who buy tickets on a leap of faith. The johnny come lately fans who buy tickets only after the Rockets win get the higher price.

    Now you know.

It's not lying. It's a computer. The price changed before you completed the order. When it processed your card you had not paid enough to cover the charge. So rather than charge your card the difference it rejected the order.

You can be pissed the prices are higher if you want but that's called supply and demand. The reality is this game 6 is a little more in demand than our last home game against Sac. So the price goes up.

I only paid $55 for game 3 for middle of the top. Was that a deal considering all these price gouges?

Yep... I paid like $75 a pop for upper corner seats the week of the game. Pretty steep.

That said, there are no bad seats in Toyota Center, especially in the playoffs. The whole arena was rocking and rolling when we took the lead in the 4th.

    Lucky bounce, Durant.

I paid $60 for lowebowl seats for game 3 and 4. I bought them early before they went on sale to the public.

Game 6 I paid $81 for upper bowl.

The people in houston shouldn't be complaining. As a northern california resident playoff tickets for Kings and warriors end up way more expensive. In fact most of the time there aren't any tickets available and you have to buy them on stub hub for 5x the original price.

Getting in the arena for 60-70 bucks to a playoff game is a steal.

Welcome bandwagoners! I'll gladly charge you triple than I did for game 4 when you said, " nobody wants to watch the Rockets get swept".

i don't think the issue is with the rise in demand and pricing. the problem is the retroactive price hike AFTER you've agreed to pay the original price. that's ****ed up.

with that said though, it is a business and you don't have to pay.
