i think Dallas losing is good...I think when and if Dallas gets Kidd, they will struggle a little and maybe the Rockets can catch dallas!!
i really think we match up better with the Mavs if they get Kidd...they are losign speed by giving up Harris...and losing a good shooter in Stack.....
I wouldn't mind playing Mavs in the first round and give them some revenge....

if their injured players will be out for another extended period of time, does anyone think they could possibly fall all the way out of top 8?

yo like dont expect other team to have injuries cuz thats gonna happen to every team, and dont complain about the west being too loaded with good teams. u got phx got shq( which might or might not work), NO is stayin with its roster, dallas is frustrated bout kidd( if they do get him, they got a good point and a leader but loose depth) laker got pau( kobe's pinkie is not lookin good they might still make it to the playoff) the defendin champs got their big 3(with tony comin back soon) this could go on and on... the thing is that blazer is out for sure, denver got a heavy schedule, so we gonna make to the top 8 for sure. the home court adv doesnt really matter that much cuz we r good road team.
we need to seriously think bout that win over sacto, its actually like another philly but we end up winnin, we need to think that we loss that game because miracle 3 pointer dont happen that often its not like we have ray allen in our team. tmac needs to att the basket as long as he do that, we can win for sure. defensively we r good team no need to mention that. alston is makin good progress, the bench is doin well. i think we can ultimately end up a seed lowr than last yr 6th seed.
    final seeding
    1.NO
    2 PHX
    3.DAL
    4.UTH
    5.SA
    6.HOU
    7.LAL
    8.GS

I disagree with your seeding, here is my.

    1. UTH
    2. PHX
    3. LAL
    4. SA
    5. NO
    6. DAL
    7. HOU
    8. DEN

UTH is going to play well from this point on as they are very solid defensive team with a great guard. PHX will lose some games with shaq playing sparely in the reg season. LAL will continue to gain momenmt even with questionable pinky on kobe (it wouldn't be a factor until playoffs, where other guards will hammer that hand like no tomorrow).

SA, the only team with experience and no roster change (keeping the core) that would lead in our divison. NO will start to struggle playing against other hungry power house in the west. NO will fold against good strong defensive teams. DAL will need time to adjust and absorb the lost on harris and diop, and gaining of kidd.

HOU having great month, but march and april will be tough. I think we pull even and staying at 7. DEN will be fighting for the 8th seed with warrior. I foresee they will pull out for the 8th.

SA is just made a trade to get kurt thomas, and i dont think they r goin to finish top 4 of western because this is just too much good teams, im still for the warriors because i wanna them to upset the first seed again, whoever that is. i change my mind with the LAL being 7th

Golden State is hosting Boston tonight. If Boston can pull out a win it would give the Rockets a two game lead (in the loss column) over Golden State in the playoff chase.

I don't think GS will make playoff if it needs 50+ wins.

GS is too inconsistent to be a 50+ team!

Dallas got beat by New Orleans. The Rockets are only 1 game behind Dallas in the loss column. If Kidd struggles for few a more games, we can pass them up by next week for the 5th seed!

Why does everyone keep saying we haven't played anyone. ESPN has the current Playoff matchups and we only play 14 more .500+ teams while teams like lakers, PHX, and all the other powers have more .500 teams to play then us. by this statistic.....we can only get better because of the lower 15 teams were going to play in the 29 games left.

We are only 1 game behind the 4th seeded Jazz! We have our eyes on the 4th seed.

not trying to be picky, because just making the playoffs in this stacked conference is great, but do we really want to play utah again ? id rather not...

They may not win their division. If we get the 4th best record and Denver wins the division, then we face the Nuggets in the first round.

With the way the Nuggets and Warriors are playing, we might have a better chance of catching Dallas than putting much distance between the us and the Warriors / Nuggets!
