    I see it as

    1. T-Mac
    2. Yao

I'm definately in the minority it seems. People quickly forget how good mac really is. The last memory they have is the guy getting carried out on a stretcher. For Yao, the last memory they have is him dominating during the second half of the season/World's.

While Yao may be the most dominant big in the league, T-Mac is a rare talent that makes the other players around him better. He is the leader of the team, and makes people better by drawing doubles (which yao also does), seeing the floor, and making the right passes. He really does most of the work. All the others have to do is knock down their wide open looks they get courtesy of #1. People forget the numbers he was putting up against dallas prior to the injuries. It was like 30-5-5 while locking up their best guy on defense. When healthy, Mac is as good as anyone in the league.

    Tmac
    Battier
    Wells
    Alston
    Howard
    Snyder
    Head
    VSpan
Novak (going on ranking, but I think Novak should be in our 9 man rotation
    Deke

And the rest, wont do much. Maybe JL3, but I think Vspan will shape up his game enough soon to convince VG to use Vspan, a little head and McGrady when spelling Alston.

Yao is good. but with the league's rules and stuff and with this era of dominant guards. Tmac is most valuable to Rockets.

    1. Head- People need to fulfill their desires.

    2. Rybo. Where would we be without him?

    3. Sura. Obviously, we need him to succeed.

    4. Howard. Can't live without him.

    All the rest are scrubs.

i shook rybo & azibuke's hands and their hands are ginormous. too bad rybo doesnt have much offensive or defensive skill, he has height though...and azibuke's biceps are at least 2 times bigger than alston's biceps. wish novak would have somewhere in between..o well heres for a good rockets future! :D

    1. Yao & Tmac -- Not that they are equally important, just that I can't figure which is more important.

    3. Battier -- Close between him and Bonzi and I could see Bonzi just blowing up for us. But, he's more of a wild card while I know we'll get something solid from Battier.

    4. Bonzi
    5. Alston
    6. Howard
    7. Head
    8. Sura -- If he's healthy.
    9. Hayes -- Maybe he's starting to get overhyped here, but I expect him to do well.
    10. Padgett -- Will take the shooter spot from Novak for now, simply because his reliable in other parts of the game.
    11. Snyder -- Another guy I don't know if we can really rely on.
    12. Spanoulis -- Hard to read him and Lucas. They seem evenly matched with different strengths, and only one will get any minutes.
    13. Lucas
    14. Novak -- May be a great shooter, but he's a rookie who isn't great at much else, which will limit his game time.
    15. Mutombo -- I don't see him as having more than spot duty anymore.

    STARTERS
    1. yao - younger and bigger than tmac.

1a. tmac - mr. everything for us, but the franchise is in yao's hands.

    3. shane - the glue.

    4. bonzi - 3rd option. mismatch.

    5. rafer - how many assists can he average this season?

    THE FUTURE
    6. luther - spark off the bench. has a bright future.

    7. killbill - this guy could make the top 5 in 2 years.

    8. hayes - will be a key reserve for years.

    9. novak - his worth will rise as he gets more minutes.

    10. snyder - bonzi pushed his worth here way down.

    THE REST
    11. jho - should score well off the bench this season.
    12. deke - dominates for 6 minutes a night.
    13. lucas - crouded backcourt brings limited PT = hurts his stock on the team.
    14. bowen - useless now that we have shane.
