The poll was not about LOYAL to the ROCKETS, it was about LOYAL to the City of Houston.

For example, Mattress Mack (you don't know this guy if unless you are a Houstonian) has not built any furniture stores outside Houston. LOYAL to the City of HOUSTON.

Yao has it easy for the first 3 games, he hasn't had to face any of the other team's best players on offense or defense.

Ron Artest (if people actually watched the games voted) had to play defense on the other team's best scorers as well as play good offense and be a leader.
Ron Artest even guarded Dirk in the Dallas game and shut down Durant in the 4th vs the Thunder.

Yao didn't dominate in every game either, except for Dallas game where he was solid.

STFU. There are no easy games in the NBA. Any team can beat you on any given night. The person who has it easy is the man who sits on his fat ass and watches the game on TV and then posts on a forum how easy it looks for a 7'6 giant to sprint back and forth on a court.

spoken like newb who knows nothing about the nba.

what about Tmac coming back from surgery? what about Ron Artest playing with a brand new team?

So you telling me Yao Ming had the harder assignments in the first 3 games than Ron Artest?

guess who leads the Rockets in minutes played?
    hint: Ron Artest

    explain it newb.

To me: Artest won game one. Watching the game from the stands, he just did small things and big things that won us that game when everyone else was down. The layup he got midway through the 4th told me that he wasn't going to let us lose.

Dallas game: Artest, Brooks, and Yao led the offense. Artest was able to slow down Howard more than McGrady was (which isn't saying much because even when healthy, Tracy doesn't play defense with his legs)... Hayes shut down Dirk. Yao was a monster down low.

Thunder: Everyone did a little bit of everything. Liked the way Aaron came in and pushed the pace... The Big Three showed some signs but it really was a team victory.

In conclusion, Ron just was the best player to me for the week. He has brought that edge and does the little things that led us to victory.

you realize for future polls, you can put more than 6 options as a choice.
