This is not for MVP of the rockets, it is for players of the week, a player who played beyond expectation. So I am going for Landry.
dude what is it with bold and bigger letters? I think we can read well enough. Nice to see the effort thou, keep it up. And artest is the man.
sorry for the double post, but this got cut out. Reason for artest? Gay, Howard and Durant- 3 total FG made in the 4th quarter.
seconded! shall we start a 'who's the sexiest ROX player' poll. I bet 10 dollars Yao will win as well.
Sorry, but I will have to put this in bold too: VOTING LINES WILL CLOSE NEXT SUNDAY AND WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCE ON THE NEXT PLAYER OF THE WEEK POLL THREAD.
dude, don't you know anything about this site? if you had a what would you have if you were stuck on a deserted island? a. food b. technology c. yao ming Yao Ming will win by a landslide. Do a poll on who's going to win the presidency, McCain, Obama, and Yao. Yao will win.
You sound bitter. There is nothing wrong with anyone voting Yao Ming in the poll. He and Artest have been a rock for the team these past three games. I think both of them are good choices.
Exactly. there isn't any point of polling because it's just a popularity contest. I don't care if MJ and Kobe were on this list, fans from China will still vote Yao tops. It's like when Yao was a rookie bearly getting his minutes and points, and they voted him to start in the all star game ahead of Shaq, who just won a championship.
Nobody said there's anything wrong, it's just pointless. The guy is right. If Yao were on the list for the Nobel Physics prize and fans were allowed to vote, I'll put down a week's pay that Yao wins the prize running away.
Against OKC, Landry was the only Rocket who shot 50% or better from the field. Against OKC, Landry tied Yao's game high with 11 rebounds while playing 11 minutes less than Yao. He was less than spectacular in the first two games, but he was awesome in the third.
Your presentation was great (other than the excess use of bold type) but the content was weak. Try picking a specific subject to discuss, as durvasa suggested, instead of trying to tackle everything and just stating the obvious. Here's a link on how to effectively use bold type (note point #2): http://desktoppub.about.com/cs/finetypography/ht/bold_type.htm
