What if we show our doctor's result which proves otherwise? They just lost 2 games, and are trying to change course. DMo said he's 100% now.

Maybe this saved Morey from himself. Maybe Dmo will get better and we can keep him for cheap next year because no one else will want him after this voided trade.

At the very least, the NBA should not allow the Pistons to offer Dmo a contract this offseason.

Nah screw Thornton, KJ is a part of our future. KJ deserves the minutes to develop, it's not like we're winning any titles this year.

Morey: "I talked to the NBA office, the trade is dead. Nothing we can really do. We tried."

Alexander: "You want me to pay the luxury tax for this steaming pile of %$#? You can go %#$% your face fat boy! I ain't paying jack %#$ for this team? Who do you think you are dealing with?"

Morey: "We can always fire Bickerstaff."

    Alexander: "Hmm... do it."

And we can make a claim that we need a Medical Exception for an injured player.

it's not part of the cba as far I know so it's legal.

And I also have heard some say that the expert doctor is league appointed.

Anyway...the woj words "DMO's back is messed up" is a nail to my heart.
I really feel very bad for Donatas.

possible but knowing Van Gundy and hearing his interviews and philosphy on tanking, and also like his brother, just do not see him tanking for draft picks

We could have. The Suns tried to trade Amare for Scola and Battier, but only if we waived the requirement for a medical. Morey said no. Any GM would say no for an investment of of that magnitude. But that's not a normal request and the rockets might have fully believed that DMo would pass the medical.
