The odds of both teams peaking in the WCF is slim .... I mean everyone going off to 130 points frequently.

I think the possibility of 1 team choking is given. Let's just hope it's not the 1st seed.

Defense and getting to the rim/drawing fouls. Those are ingredients that should work for the Rockets regardless or peak performance.

    Add that to it..... sure.

All I meant is be prepared to see 1 or 2 guys having bad performances.....Rox and GSW alike.

Personally, as today, i'd play Ryan over Nene, at least on the road, even though i'm sure he will give 101%, i feel like Nene is going to get burned by every Warrior out there...Ryan too, but at least on the road he should be able to make some shots and space the floor...even though, who knows, at this point both of them have been pretty bad overall so...

Took Warriors in 6. But the series could go either way. Hope I'm wrong.

Oh yeah, i agree with that, i actually forgot about West, probably cause i was kinda fossilized to the idea of Draymond playing the 5 when Zaza or McGee will go out. Even though, i wouldn't mind having Ryan against West too...i think.

even though nene hasn't been the same player he was last year in the playoffs, i thought he gave hou good minutes while he was on the floor. i think hell continue to do so against GS matching up primarily with west.

Personally i'm a bit more negative on Nene at this point, but i'm fine with playing him against West.

Crap accidentally voted wrong I selected Warriors in 7 when I meant Rockets in 7.

Actually I only see the series two ways either Warriors in 6 or Rockets in 7. I see Golden state entering game 6 with a 3-2 lead. I am actually really excited about this match up. I am expecting the team to have a level of focus and intensity that we have not seen all season for this match up. Especially Harden. We all remember how locked in he was in that WCF especially games 1 and 2. If we get that Harden this series I like our chances. This is the biggest series anyone has been in on the Rockets side outside of Ariza. Its what they have been leading up to all season long. I am going to be shocked if we see the efforts we saw last night (quite frankly that was a poor effort and if it wasn't for CP3 and Tucker the Rockets were going to lose that game), in Game 2 (the worst so far this playoffs) and the effort against the Wolves. The one time they faced adversity this post season heading into game 3 they responded in a huge way. The next time in game 4 they responded in the same way. Those are good signs to me.

Its Harden's team but make no mistake Paul and Tucker control this team's intensity and focus and they will continue doing that in the WCF. I expect everyone to step up. I have a feeling that Ryno will be a factor in this series. We cant forget about him.

i think alot of people are but i stopped holding him to the standard of last year's playoffs. rockets are much deeper this year and couple that with CC's play, he just needs to be a contributor in some way while spelling the C position some minutes as a vet and physical presence

Ego should only shoot corner threes and Ryan needs to play, he was huge in the against them especially rebounding, stretching. My beating organ wants spaceships in 7.

That's not advantages that's a list of positives.

    - They have MVPs as well
    - They have a hall of fame pg as well
    - they have a defense lead by DG
    - they have versatile defenders
    - I won't say who is hungrier because both teams haven't shown it.

This is a binary choice not vegas. You don't get more points for picking a underdog.

like i said youll just have to be proved wrong. you can point to so many matchups in the history of sports and people have asked what advantages does the underdog have. yet they came out with the W. once again its easy for the average joe to pick GS.

I expect Nene and Capela both to have diminished roles in this series because Golden State will go small a lot with Green at 5 and the Rockets will most likely counter that with Tucker at 5.

I want to see game one first. Can the Rockets flip a switch and return to mid-season form? Have they been reserving wall to wall intensity for the Finals? Many questions will be answered in game one. Clearly, they have regressed since the earlier games were played. Harden has to be "on" every game. His occasional appearances can't continue if they have any chance. AND Gordan has to start consistently hitting shots. Would also help if the bench could return en masse.
