I guess the best option at this point is Wilcox, but there HAS to be a better option somewhere. I am not an NBA GM, but the idea of Rasho Nestorwhoever starting at center for my fav team stinks of lottery. And the messesd up part about the lottery is that we can 30 games next year and end up with the 12th pick, which can easily turn into a wasted pick. I guess with Yao and T-Mac now AWOL the most of next season, that is the road we are on. I don't want Chandler or any other injury prone and expensive defense-only guy, I want a solid all around player! Is that too much to ask?
You don't think we'd have to be the ones giving them draft considerations? It's worth a shot. Waive Davis immediately, and Camby is the perfect C for this year. Can run, rebound, block shots and, importantly, expires.
anyone like drew gooden? he's very good when he's consistent. above avg c/f that can rebound and has a mid shot. also can run the floor. at 6'10 hes a tad shorter but has proven to play both positions.
Agree 100%.....Mihm would actually be ideal for a hi post offense even though Petro has pretty much sucked the last year or so, his days in Seattle showed a lot of promise
He is pretty bad. It speaks volumes when San Antonio won't even give him a deal considering he is still fairly young. I don't think he would fit this system since he was a really low IQ. He wouldn't work well in this system since he isn't a very good cutter and he tends to be out of position as well.
mikeyharris posted this in another thread.... Shane Battier to DC for JaVale McGee, Mike James (expiring 6.5 MIL), and possibly next years 1st rounder.... I think the Wiz do it because they are in WIN now mode...Battier will take pressure off Caron Butler on the defensive end by guarding the opponents best perimeter player... Battier would also go to DC and be closer to Obama.. Great situation for Shane The Rockets would get a young 7 foot center with great potential.. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/javale-mcgee and also get Mike James expiring 6.5 MIL contract, which gives them more flexibility in 2010... I think this is the best possible deal the Rockets can make
im all for getting a young C it would have to be a trade since my list consist of players under contract My wish list: A. Biedrins E. Okafor R. Hibbert S. Hawes either Lopez twins
<strike>Marcin Gortat</strike> <strike>Zaza Pachulia</strike> Ryan Hollins <strike>Anderson Varejao</strike> <strike>Chris Andersen</strike> David Andersen (July 15 deadline) <strike>Raheed Wallace</strike> Theo Ratliff Rasho Nesterovic <strike>Antonio McDyess</strike> Channing Frye Chris Wilcox Mikki Moore Jason Collins Jamaal Magloire Sean Marks
they can start Oden, they also are prepared to offer Paul Millsap contract- http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2009/07/blazers_preparing_offer_for_ut.html. They can also start Aldridge at the 5 and Millsap at the 4... If they sign Millsap, it makes Pryzbilla expendable
