I think they would waive Westbrook if they got the pick. We're only keeping Wall on the tiny off chance he accepts a buyout or a huge expiring becomes useful in acquiring a great player. That pick is going to be good, Lakers have no idea how to build a winning team.

Wall’s contract may become super valuable this offseason. Waiting was the hard part; there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah sure. Trade one suit for another suit. Or a dress.

I don’t know if "super valuable’,is the right word, but… if Russ picks up his option the Lakers will have even less leverage in the off-season, right after Russ kills them in the playoffs.

    CP3/Harden/Covington/Tucker/Capela
    &Eric Gordon

If Fertitta did nothing, the Rockets would be the best team in the league right now.

No doubt the core of Harden, Gordon, Capela and CP3 had some more years in it. It’s painful seeing Harden and Paul tied for the league lead in assists and wonder what might have been.

I'd do it for two seconds. Why not? It's a wash in terms of the money and having a player who's not going to be on the court. You'd have to think Wall gets bought out after the deadline anyways, same with Russ if he's here.

what a terrible take. Tillman wanted Westbrook more than Harden did and that's why we got him. He thought CP3 was the most over paid player. He thought CP3 was done.

Best response given the circumstances and all that's happened since.

Westbrook has projects in the background including a production company. He's taking $50 million to cushion his living expenses while trying to produce new media. You can be sure about that.

I wouldn’t say most. Way too many folks around here thought westbrick was great. But definitely a number of us were just flat out shocked at such an idiotic move made by Tilman

I do so hope this trade happens just to remind me how crazy the universe is. That would be some crazy 3d chess level stuff even Morey would have to smirk at.

Lakers should offer Westbrook to Washington for Kuzma, Caldwell-Pope, OR Harrell.

He was aiming for the top corner of the backboard.

It's the old, "I'm a terrible shooter, so leave me unguarded the rest of the
    game (season...career)" ploy

I still remember all the spin at the time. I'm actually kinda surprised the tag line at the time hasn't stuck around as a constant reminder of the disaster that was that trade.

    "We just extended our window"

Lol, that trade killed our team so fast.

He must have practiced that shot over and over again. He hits the same spot on the backboard every time with immaculate accuracy. :D
