    no, he wanted the public to stay in and watch. he said it was okay, and cool. i don't think toyota center staff was aware people could stay for that.

    The rule is that they are rookies until they play their first game of their second season... don't you remember chase having to do it his second year too? Thanks for the recap Kam :)

    lol. yes I'm back for my 4th season! People ask why I have to try out every year a lot.
    1. For formalities
    2. Honestly, if 50 people show up to the tryout and are somehow more rowdy and more dedicated to this team and the Red Rowdies program than I, they should make it and I should get booted is how I personally feel.
    3. I usually have a great time trying out. The last 2 years were a blast trying out and I put a lot of creativity in trying to entertain the crowd and judges. This year, with the lockout, I just wasn't as prepared as I usually am.

    is it just me or does the open practice effort get worse and worse every year? So many balls thrown out of bounds, missed shots, no attempt to even jog down the court. Scola, Martin, Lee, Lowry, and Patterson all not playing. Lot of layups, too few dunks, & shorter amount of time for the scrimmage. I wasn't expecting much, but is that supposed to really get us excited about the season?? I was joking around with people afterwards about how terrible we looked. Wish we could see more of a practice, you know what the guys were actually doing for the 2 hrs before the open "practice."

    I was hoping we had some better dancers on this team. Part of it was probably song selection. I agree with Kam that Chandler should've won. I couldn't believe Marcus Morris just didn't do anything! Was not expecting that.

    I got the second to last autograph pass! I got there just before 11. There was a surprisingly great turnout at the event for a weekday. Last year, the open practice started at 2 or 2:30, but myself and a few Rowdies were there before 9 am! over 5 hours early. Lol we became really good friends with the group of people who got there just before we did. Still are friends today, and some of them are now Rowdies. cool story sis.

    Lol we were chanting "free T-Will" after the practice and he turned to us and said something like "it's okay I'm free now"
