tmac looks greaaaat! I pray he is still strengthening his knee with uni-lateral movements and doing romanian deadlifts to muscle his low back.

i didn't think so in the video though. i guess they taped that towards the end. o well, tracy still has a long ways to go before he is able to "finish." everything leading up towards that is pretty good.

Why do you say he can't even jump? We clearly have recent pictures where he is off the floor slightly more than Chase. Can Chase not even jump either?

Are you comparing the way he looks now to the way he played last season before shutting it down? Was his knee injured and did he have surgery, or was having surgery just a giant pr move? If people complained about how he played last year, not knowing the extent of his knee problem, they are being ridiculous right now for thinking that surgery and rehab might just help?

Talk about ridiculous. McGrady is at the end of his rehab and practicing with the team. Oden is out for the year with a broken knee-cap.

I believe that. You only share information that supports your intense dislike of McGrady.

If you want to be taken seriously, don't be all over the place with any stupid thing that pops into your mind, like the Oden comment, or the Dubya comment. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, and if you don't like Tracy personally, no worries. But, don't keep saying that it makes no sense for people to expect that Tracy could come back from his surgery and play well and help the team. It wouldn't be a miracle for a guy to come back from an injury. You act like he has maxed out his comeback. You said
. Isn't that what you would expect from someone coming back from an injury? Hopefully, you would be saying the same thing again, next week.

How about holding yourself to a higher standard when you post, because of your inside information.

He's able to get the first step on his defender. He'd probably be able to work the pick and roll much better than last year. The thing with McGrady is that if he can get a little into the defense and cause some sagging, then he'll be able to create some plays. Battier himself said that the playmaking is still there, so I'm sure that he'd be able to help the team right now. However, it's clear that Adelman doesn't want a T-Mac lite on the court, he wants the full flavor T-Mac. If that doesn't happen, then he isn't seeing the court. Still, it's good to see him looking much better than last year.

Don't know how some of you can say that he looks horrible. He looks way quicker than last year, and 1-on-1 situations like that are usually for fun. You'd know that if you were ever on a varsity team at any level (except elementary I suppose).

“We all look good in half-court situations, playing one-on-one,” Battier said. “He has a ways to go. … When he comes back, he comes back.”

Is it just me or does Battier seem to be a little reluctant at T Mac's return. Maybe he is concerned about his playing time or lack there of!!

Yeah, I think they were taking it easy on him and he still couldn't get a bucket. But as far as a half court play? This team wants to run every chance they get. I want to see Tracy play defense and get out and run the court. Will he slow this team down? Will he stop the ball too play one on one? and will he have the same grit and determination as the rest of the team or look out of place? I'm not looking forward to his return. D.M. what is taking so long? trade please.

Hmmmm Let me try to answer this question. Could it be maybe because Battier is a good defensive player, Ariza is a good long defensive player and just because Chase is a rookie doesn't mean he isn't a good player. Don't be quick to judge him just because he is a rookie.

I thought the same. In the video I was not impressed at all. He appeared to be barely getting off the ground but the pics told a different story.

My point is that if he isn't significantly better than any of those guys how do you justify giving their minutes to him?

I would rather look at the video than the picture. I would think anything would look good depending on how the pic is being taken. The video probably shows everything.

Do what Philadelphia did with Iverson. Let him play and determine what his status should be. I don't care who you are. All this practicing isn't going to help him out. He can practice all he wants and when it comes to a real game he isn't going to be ready.

most likely it was towards the end of the session. you can see from the pics that tracy shook chase in the post but we didn't see it in the video. the session was most likely more than 5 minutes and they just caught the end.

he still has a ways to go though with his finishing. he just gotta trust that knee though (and that's why i think tracy wants to play. he can move just fine, but you wont' regain confidence finishing with that knee unless you do it in games).
