To clarify, when the other post said: "You should check to see if SBC's U-Verse is available at your location. I'm waiting to switch as soon as it's available at my place. It's the best thing you can get in Houston right now as far as digital TV/internet service is concerned" ..my point is that a one time investment in a descrambler, which then gives you just about free everything, is a "better thing" than paying a monthy fee to a service provider. Ya dig?
1-- If I am properly understanding what you are talking about....its illegal 2-- It doesnt take very long for the service providers to find a way to make those illegal descramblers useless. The sat services run a signal down the lines from time to time that makes those ineffective....then the pirates have to find a new way in.
TW HD is cheaper and provides more channels and when in a few months they will start offering ESPN2 HD as they complete their switch to comcast. I had Dish Network and switched to TW because of their price and better content.
I believe ESPNHD has overall the best picture quality between TNTHD and FSNHD. TNTHD has serious blur problems and FSNHD just looks a notch below the others.
My buddy has been doing it for years, and no problems yet. As far as them finding ways to block your signal, that hasn't happened to him yet either. But hey, if you want to pay out the nose for cable\HD, be my guest. I'm just trying to helpful.
