    This may sound stupid...but you need an HD TV to watch HD..
    Otherwise why dont you already have HD if you got Time Warner.
    The HD service doesnt cost anything extra unless you want to pay for HD Plus and get ESPN ... otherwise you get ABC, TNT and FSN (when they broadcast). All you have to do is get an HD box which doesnt cost anything extra unless you are getting a DVR.

    CRAP!

    I just checked and you are right. My old box has no HD capability. I'm swapping that POS ASAP.

    What service issues have you had with them? I have only had TW, and no problems with them. Roadrunner is especcially awesome. I just won't compromise Rox PO viewing for anything.

    I thought the picture was way too bright and not as good as ESPNHD or TNTHD! To me it seemed like the broadcast was WS SD!

    I liked it better the ESPN because it was brighter..I was watching it using my 720p projector on a 120" screen..All matter of preference...Maybe I'm being biased and the real reason is because I couldn't stand the ESPN broadcasters.

    Yeah, but I think there was like only 5 games the entire season broadcast in HD on that channel. Not sure what is up with FSN-Houston. Seems like other regions get alot better programming and regularly get games in HD.

    Descrambler=free

    Nope, it was a KNWS broadcast. Call them yourself and ask. Of course, no descrambler needed for that, but if you want to bypass paying for regular cable (TNT or ESPN, or a million other channles, p*rn included), you need a descambler.

    Can anyone verify that KNWS did indeed broadcast a game recently in HD?
