the only person that wont sign anywhere is ben gordon. i tried getting him when he was i chi-town and in mo-town, he wont come to houston.
man i tried to add some free agents after i won the championship with last year's roster... but it wont let me use partial MLE. Even if i sign a free agent for like 1 yr, 3 mil; it doesn't let me use the rest of the 2.5 or whatever i have left... its frustrating!
One offseason, I managed to scrounge enough dosh to sign both Amare and LeBron James in the offseason (since most of the starters were high draft pick rookie/sophomores, they were incredibly cheap). Unfortunately, after only 3 years LeBron jumped ship (again) but I trained up Amare to be 90 in 3 pt, and 90 in ball handling, speed and quickness.
My first season, I traded away TMac and a pick for Brad Miller, Kenny Thomas (who I cut and didn't pay) and a first round pick. That pick landed me a terrific rookie who would later become Finals MVP. Next season, I signed Ray Allen with my full MLE. I re-signed Wafer, but he was always complaining about his PT so I traded him to Phoenix for some made-up player and another pick. That pick landed me a good shooting guard who I re-named Jermaine Taylor. Then, I traded for Donte Greene and I developed him into my sharpshooting 6th Man. I'm currently in my 4th season. I've won 60+ games all three years despite Yao constantly getting injured but only 1 championship.
Whoever is on the Rockets Roster is on my roster on the game. Only for the 1st year. 2nd Year The Lakers resigned Ariza so I resigned Artest and just traded him for Ariza. IDK what it is but playing and trying to keep everyone happy is a challenge. Brent Barry complains too much. Von Wafer complained too much in the 1st year. Its sad how even in the game guys think they are better than what they are. 2nd Season I traded away Kyle Lowry, Battier, and Hayes ( no need for him since Scola, Landry are a beast ) to the clippers for Baron Davis and some rookie they drafted. Davis / Brooks McGrady / Barry Ariza / White Scola / Landry Yao / Dorsey 2nd unit. OOOhhh can you say run n gun.
Its on 360 when you go to roster download. Look for top 10 downloads and you'll see the title for 2k10 roster. Its player fan based made. Not a authentic NBA2k roster. Just takes care of all the trades and drafts. I was already planning on saving a 2k9 season and advancing into 2k10 (association) done and doing all the trades done, just he had that already and the rookies so i went with theirs.
its 360. dont know if your implying torrents. but ive actually bought 3 copies of this game after I ruined the 1st copy and my kids ruined the 2nd copy. after the second one, I just said screw it and bought a used copy. 1st time for me.
yeah its decent how much over the cap are you though I love playing the gm side of the game and staying away form negative balance. On top of that, I like to simulate everything since I own hall of fame. on top of that, how many of you made a 'you' character!
i started making all sorts of moves, one where i got shaq and lebron for bosh, gay, and turkoglu. then i traded lebron for lamarcus aldrige and brandon roy. and i traded shaq, ariza, and rashard lewis for jason kidd, jason terry, and josh howard. then i traded jason kidd and josh howard for rudy gay and turkoglu. so i ended up with 3.09 million in cap space. pg roy/lowry sg terry/barry sf gay/ budinger pf turkoglu/landry c gortat/wallace i dont care. i know its not the best. but i have a team with baddass all stars
