Not at all. If you want to "protest" their protest by refusing to support the Rockets going forward, that's your choice and you're free to make it. Didn't mean to suggest otherwise.
You know those times when the players claim they "Care about the fans", "the fans are why we're here", and "I'm not gonna play without fans" (Lebron)? Do you remember that? You know it is possible to support their movement and hate the way they are going about it, especially since it is alienating a **** ton of people that readily support them and their social justice mission? Or do you just feel like being Joe Kelly tonight?
I was assuming they want policy change from the government but yes I guess it’s important for them to come out with a policy request platform.
Thanks for the rhetorical question! How long do you think they can continue to not play before their employer decides not to pay them?
it's a good thing there's only a small % of fans that act like they're entitled and most important. In which case nobody should care about those. certainly not the players or team The rest of us will continue to support being human and what's right
"I'm not renewing my season tickets!" "My company won't renew it's corporate box!" "I'm no longer a Houston Rockets fans!" "I'll never watch another NBA game, even on TV!" LMAO. Whenever play resumes, whether it's tomorrow or next season, every one of you whiners will be right there with the rest of us.
Without the fans there is no league, no billion dollar industry, there isn't anything to talk about here. Without the fans, there is no platform for the players. You are just a bitter, salty, old english crone.
again you're trying to speak for everyone. you don't. not even close. the rockets wont miss you. stop acting like they will. you're kidding yourself
Or "I'm done with sports." LOL If a brief boycott makes someone this upset, it's clear sports is more important in their life than it should be. I can't imagine someone like this "giving up sports" forever.
Lol nobody here cares about your money. Maybe donate to help build the wall - I hear it's a good investment.
I really don't think any fans who actually support their social justice mission are going to be alienated by this. And I don't think the players care about alienating the rest. So ... what's the problem?
You mean without YOU? I'm a fan and I will continue to watch whether they resume play tomorrow, next week, or next season.
You can definitely exercise your free thought. And I (and others) can exercise mine to tell you that your free thought is pretty flawed. Side note: I've never encountered someone defend an argument well with "this is just my free speech". Generally a sign of a very poor argument. You can happily take your money elsewhere. See ya!
