And it’s not where McDonald’s or burgers were invented either, yet here we are. I rather we go for fire with red yellow orange since that makes sense. Just going back to a color scheme for nostalgia seems to be an attempt to make money, that’s it.
I totally get I’m an old-head in this thread but this **** matters…I don’t want to be the magic, raptors, nets, wizards etc of teams that just reach over and over again because they have no anchor build identity around. We do!! The very same way that Detroit leans in. Classic understated designs. Like a real professional sports franchise that takes itself seriously
we won championships and went to Finals 4 times in 15 years in those colors. Those were our franchise’s best years and they had nothing to do with McDonald’s. We aren’t gold…the same way we aren’t blue
The Bulls have literally never changed their logo. I'm ok with a mild adjustment. Just no overhaul gimmicks. Still no matter the sport, classic successful teams don't need to do stunts on logos. Like the Dodgers, Red Sox, Lakers, Celtics, 49'ers, Steelers, etc. Basically the same for at least 7 decades. The Rockets brought the success to their identity. And just flushed away its chance at iconic legacy
Yep...the Pistons tried a logo and uniform that was teal and had a horse on the jersey and it just didn't work. They went to a variant of their boring, basic ass uniforms they won championships with and, what do you know? It works.
