Screw Sasha...even Mike James put up big numbers on his contract year...

Watch Sasha disappear at stretches for whichever team that signs him to a meaty contract

6'7" isn't short and that size doesn't hurt getting your shot off. Sure, he could add some muscle, but he is only 24. Definetly a true and legit sized shooting guard.

I like him as a prospect, I am sure the Lakers will match reasonable offers. But I want them to HAVE to match reasonable offers.

I can think of better ways for the Rox to spend $30M. The guy is just an outside shooter despite him being listed as 6'7" and sufficiently mobile, I don't think I saw him try to penetrate once during the finals.

I don't know. I watch the Lakers fairly regularly, and Sasha really seemed like this year he just happened to hit his groove more than being in "I gotta play well to get a fat contract" sort of mode. He plays to win and I think that's most important.

I don't know if I want to pick him up though. He's definitely a pretty good shooter and plays pesky defense, but he chucks up a lot of ill-advised shots and when he's cold he can stagnate the offense. Just let him stay with the Lakers or let some other team pick him up-- he's not a great fit here if we have to economically overextend to get him. Besides, I don't really see him leaving the Lakers-- I'd be surprised if they let him go.

He is an ok player but not going worth after. I'm quite sure that the Rockets aren't interested in him.

personally i don't like sasha and his nick name 'the machine' is just ridiculous

but the fac is that he came up big for the Lakers several times during rs and during playoffs too. This dude can really shoot the ball, but I belive we need more a scorer, guy who can creat shots for himself and can get to the ft line.

    Sasha can't do that.

An inside source being an anonymous post from the spurstalk forum? What's a matter Hoops-world was too busy posting "LeBron to NBDL" stories to pick up this hot item?

    I guess the " " on inside wasn't enough.

I can't stand that gimp and either can half the league.

His own teammates have talked trash to him and pushed him around.

    He's barely even a man.

    No to girly boy Sasha.

I'm not saying the Rox will get him, but the main things everyone says the rox are lacking, he can provide. I mean at 6'7 pg, he can flat out shoot. Even when he misses, its close. He defends with effort, a great ft shooter and he can get the team into the offense. Is he a ideal pg? No, but its better to have a deadeye shooter opposite tracy and yao as opposed to a streaky guy like rafer. Not to mention he's 24 and can get better. I would rather have Sasha than landry, but that's just me.

I am going to get killed by my Lakers friends if we end up signing Sasha!

I am not a fan of his because of his lack of defense and his soft-play so I always make fun of the guy, but if we sign him, then I am going to have to cheer for him and hype him up! Oh man, that is going to be tough!
