Playoff Tie-Break Procedures: b. More Than Two Teams Tied (1) Better winning percentage in all games among the tied teams. (2) Better winning percentage against teams in own division (only if all tied teams are in the same division). (3) Better winning percentage against teams in own conference. (4) Better winning percentage against teams eligible for playoffs in own conference (including teams that finished the regular season tied for a playoff position). (5) Better net result of total points scored less total points allowed against all opponents (“point differential”).
We just have to keep winning and getting better. The Rockets have a lot to think about over this break. They can't be satisifed. T-Mac, in particular, has been acting like the Rockets are playing "extremely well" and they just have to keep doing what they're doing. WRONG ... they need to be much better if they want to achieve something in the playoffs. That's the attitude we need from all our players, but I don't know if they understand that.
HOU: 1-1 vs. DEN; 1-2 vs. GSW = 2-3 DEN: 1-1 vs. HOU; 1-1 vs. GSW = 2-2 GSW: 1-1 vs. DEN; 2-1 vs. HOU = 3-2 Hmmmm, maybe we are 9th.
Actually, he is trying to do a reverse jinx. If he says the Rockets won't make it, they'll make it. If says they are definitely in the playoffs, he thinks it will jinx them. Some sports fans believe internet postings affect the game. LOL
