Hey, with the letters DAN FEGAN, I can spell the words:

    A FANG DEN

Hmmmm. I guess suspicions of evil doing were correct.

This one is my personal favorite. It more or less describes Fegan perfectly:

    DEAF 'N NAG

    :D

A contract around 5/22 looks like a square deal for both parties. Below are veteran players somewhat similar to SA and their contracts (I excluded some relatively newer players that will get big future paydays-a la MD):

    Stith 6/22
    Ceballos 2/8
    McKie 7/36
    C. Mills 6/26
    Mercer 5/27
    Patterson 6/34
    Person 7/40
    L. Murray 7/25
    Abdul-Wahad 7/43
    Russel 5/20
    Christie 7/48
    Fox 6/26
    Barry 6/27
    N Anderson 4/16 (+ up to 32)

There are only a couple of guys I would give a big nod to over SA, and most of their contracts reflect this (Christie, McKie), though there are a couple of exceptions (Bryan Russell's agent must have screwed him, Lamond Murray is underpaid too). And there are couple of worse veterans getting paid substantially more-- Wahad and Wesley Person, and players who are worse than Shandon at this stage in their careers who are paid about the same (Stith, Nick, Mills, Ceballos).

Even ESPN says that the Rockets and Anderson are close to a 5-year 25-30 million dollar contract. Check it out. It's in small letters right under the team leaders colum, where it says news and notes. 2nd paragraph
