Why not? They might not show it through yelling on camera, but I believe this team has just as much heart as our 94 champion team.

Barkley is a-hole, and he never won a ring, so what's there to compare about?

Fair points NY... but you realiase yao lungs do uffer because of his monstrious size. most giants his size allways have had history of Stamina problems and other handicaps resulting from him being so big.

Barkley might have been an a-hole, but he had heart. More then any player on the Rockets right now.

A guy who was 6'5" and nearly led the league in rebounding - the mound round of rebounding.

I would trade Yao for a 25 year old Charles any day.

Not to point fingers, but you CLEARLY dont know basketball... If our system didnt have YAO running to the top of the key to chase the pick and roll before the shot, things could be and I stress COULD BE different... Now if YAO could sit his ass in the lane all day like Shaq and Barkley while not running to defend outside of it I would say he could grab atleast a few more boards.. Just because a player is tall doesnt mean the system that works best for the team will fit all of YAO strengths...

I've never heard that. Shaq is 7'2' and doesn't seem to have that problem. I don't know if it's a conditioning issue, if it is, Yao should be getting more rebounds every season right? It's not happening.

Do you hate our current team or something? I mean they can't even please you when they win 6 in a row.

Wasn't a big fan of houston...what's your problem anyway? You're an embarrassment to new york city.

Well, Yao isn't the fastest player, and i'm sure that hurts him, but still...i don't buy it...i watch the games and I grimace everytime a shorter opposing player gets position on him and gets a rebound he should have had...

Yao gets the boards at time, when he feels like it.

I will agree with you that Yao can be a very frustrating player to watch at times. But I highly doubt that its from a lack of effort.

Oh, I'm very pleased with their play of late. Very happy in fact. It's all very exciting. I just don't think they are ready to beat SA in a 7 games series yet.

I actually think they will need a tougher PF to take on Duncun...

Also NY, i believe you genuienly like yao and you feel frustrated because you feel he has'nt reached his full potential as soon as he probaly should have. but consider this, this is a kid who till 3 years ago probaly could'nt speak a word of english at all..... he also never went to college or High school in the states.. he played in a weak ass league back in china. considering the handicaps his had to get over, his done a pretty damn good job Thus far... i'm not saying there are no other barriers fro him to over come, but uptil now, he's done pretty damn good in my eyes.

What does that prove? I would trade T-Mac for a 20 year old Jordan, but can I?

LoL...I'm not the one so ashamed of my own city, I would put my nickname as some other place. So now you are here on a Houston Rockets site criticizing everyone and everything but yet you felt so ashamed of Houston, you would call yourself some other city name. Right.

It seems the only way Yao plays hard is when Barkley calls the team softer then his belly. Who's next to question Yao out in the open...at some point Yao has to motivate himself....I like Yao, he's a really smart, nice, laid back guy...but it's painful to watch him play sometimes...i don't care if he misses every shot, but c'mon, get more then 6 rebounds!

Not ashamed, what's your deal? Why do you care?

I was born in NY, but i am from houston - where i grew up and was raised. Not a fan of the city. I have friends their, i'm connected to Houston, and lots of good and bad memories...people move and keep their alliances to their franchises. Accept it.

Why are you so combative? So who's your allegiance to? The Rockets or the Knicks? Since your answer about moving and keeping allegiances to franchises makes it sound like you're a Knick fan
