If I recall correctly, didn't Tim say something about the Rockets not going back to the gold and red becasue that was a different era, and this young Rockets team is going to establish their own identity with a new logo and uniforms? Or something along the lines of that? I don't know why everyone is hating on the color blue. Blue has been established as a primary Rockets color. I can't wait until the Rockets do away with these uniforms they have now. When one of these various uniform threads was open a long time ago, I suggested that the Rockets use the USA basketball uniform as their base (not the recent one, the one from the 2000 Olympics). The Rockets need to either go with something bold, or something simple, none of this trying to tie everything in together like the last uniform. The three uniforms (red, blue and silver on the previous page) look good and I'd be ecstatic if they were the teams new uniforms. Great job on those.
NO BLUE. How good would their taste be it if Uni of Texas or Nebraska or other red uni teams just added blue for no good reason? Rockets are RED, NO BLUE. We have Blue with the Texans. I love the USA but I'm sick of Red, White an Blue for unis. Please be original and stick with traditional Rockets colors. How about that?!
At the Sunday game, they passed out old school Rockets T-shirts where the colors were green, red and yellow. I think red and green would be decent color scheme, witha little bit of silver. Seattle kind of has the market covered with the green, but their other color is yellow, so I'd go with red as the predominant color and green and silver as the accent and for alternate jerseys.
I like the dark colors! Makes the team look intimidating! Dark Blue, Navy Blue type colors. I made some designs but can't post them
Id like to go back to the old uniforms, or atleast get closer to them. I think Detriot did a nice job when they re-did their unis, so hopefully the Rockets have hired the same people to do theirs. I just hope they dont try to get too bold and produce something nasty.
I think these has a good mix with old and new. Just need to get rid of the blue on the sides since it does kind of resemble the Clipper uniforms. Maybe have white or silver on the sides
I think we should use Red, Silver, and White. A lot of Red and Silver, a little white. A darker grey though.
