Rockets needs to quit Trader mentality if they want to win a championship

Harden is very young compared to Melo and he is a will passer unlike Melo. BAD EXAMPLE #2

A-Stoud is terrible defensively and cant rebound for sh**. Howard plays better defense and is a rebounding machine. BAD EXAMPLE #3

 

True, maybe in terms of talent. The point is, there has to be a point (and I think it's very close) where you have to stop the wheeling and dealing, and just give the team a good several seasons to gel and really play together. Build that trust and the deep bonds between players that true championship teams have.

 

And that's obviously now. We have our core players. All the wheeling and dealing was to build assets for a star player. The only big trade I see happening is trading Asik.

It really doesn't matter how you acquire a superstar, it just matters that you have them on the roster.

When we got Harden and Lin and a recently remade young team, I had hope that we would go through a development process. We showed signs of an amazing duo backcourt.

After trading for howard, now we have a must win or go home mentality.

We don't need to develop through the draft. We have young players with a lot of potential. They can still become homegrown.
