Thanks for posting. I got absolutely roasted by 60% of this site for saying that this would happen. Not a knock on Reed, as he’s a competent player, but Edey was the right pick for this team. People forget we are going to have 10+ more years of Wembly to deal with and he would have had the size and bulk that Jock and Smith (Adams won’t be relevant in 2 years) just don’t have.

Faster than Jokic, but I guess you probably said the same thing about him based on your earlier posts.

I’m sorry @Imanimal. You were right. We should’ve taken Yao’s brother.

Did you know this 7’5 freak(45%) has a better 3pt% than our supposed “sniper”(28%)?

Stevo and Landale can’t hold his jock.

I like his attitude. He seems like a lowkey *******, he would have fit well with this team. But Rockets tend to go with the consensus when it comes to lottery picks. There's a reason why we can always predict who we're going to draft.

The Grizzlies are the 2002 Rockets on steroids.

Lol and Edey looks like Zubac and the Clippers look like a Harden and JVG led Rockets.

So do I…..whether Reed is a bust or not, Edey was the pick we needed and would have moved the needle for this franchise. Surprise surprise, Reed can’t play defense and chokes in the big games (just like college). Yet, Edey played like a beast in all the big ncaa games as he averaged 30-15 and took his team to the championship! Reed couldn’t take his team to the second round after getting held scoreless by that tough Oakland University defense.

And Edey dominated Klingan as well. Klingan had the better team around him.
Edey scored better at everything in the combine. His ability to shoot 3's two years
in a row at the combines says that you might be able to play both Edey and
Sengun together eventually. Both pass well. It would have been unreal.

Rockets have started getting away from Drop Coverage and keeping
Sengun more on the perimeter defensively....which has allowed the
Rockets to move higher than their ceiling of #5 defensively playing Drop
    Coverage (imo).

I had mentioned pre draft that the T-Wolves were a top defense last year
while playing drop coverage with Gobert (drop covering ) & KAT patrolling
an area on the perimeter. KAT asked to run players off the 3-point line & funnel
them to Rudy. Much like the Bucks funneling everything to Brook Lopez.

I'm guessing most Rockets FO and fans feel threatened that Sengun will lose his
job to competition. Everyone else on the team faces competition.....except Sengun.
Steven Adams doesn't score. If Sengun gets hurt, we lose our hub of the offense.
Supposedly Jalen Green in March was a fluke.

    Harden thrives with lob threat.
