No. People will think up anything to put down players they don't want.

Edey will be the ROY. Although it is just preseason Edey is doing everything we all thought he would do. Reed is not.

I agree with this, although I think it’s mostly about opportunity. Sheppard won’t be able to put up the numbers to win

    Edey over reaction is funnay

in the preseason players are just getting burn. There is very little to no exploitation of matchups and exposing a players weaknesses. The focus is installing offensive sets and defensive rotations. Once the regular season hits - teams will be testing Edey’s lateral movement, ability to recover and how he handles transition.

Bigs take longer to develop. I like Edey, don’t love him. He is no Yao and Yao took time to develop.

ROY is a forward/guards game where their ability to be on ball helps their overall statline.

Pretty good is not why we drafted him in the top of the draft. We could have gotten pretty good in the 2nd round. We can't even get 35% 3 pt. shooting from him.

He’s played zero games, give him SOME chance at least.

Just saying what everyone is thinking. His terrible 3 pt percentage so far is quite disturbing.

Again, he has not played a single game. There is no percentage, terrible or otherwise

I wouldn't. He wasn't known for 3 pt shooting. He's known for doing exactly what he is doing. Being a dominant force near the basket. He's even showcasing a free throw line skyhook. But trust me, once he starts shooting more 3s, he'll be dam near unstoppable.

Edey probably will win ROY just because he will be a 25+ min starter on a 50 win team. Long term Edey will be a Zubac while Reed will be a multi time all star so who the hell cares?

Check the first 2-3 years of Mark Price, John Stockton, Steve Nash. Reed will be as good as those guys, but like them, will take time to get to peak production.

Yeah, I liked Edey, I definitely would have taken a gamble on him with a late pick. He just proved very expensive at #9, oh well. If he can hit threes and move his feet on defense, he may be a star as well or a modern Yao mold.
