you don't need to only find a target that fits the 10-12 mil contract. You also need to find the team that can take on 3 players. That means that has a 10 day contract player or a vet min player who is worthless or smth.

This is interesting if true. Means we would have to do is essentially package KJ, Ennis and Harrell to trade for an additional player worth 12 mill in a 3 team deal.

    Example

    Brewer to Lakers

    Bogut, Lou to Rockets

KJ, Ennis and Harrell to Mavs

    OR

Same deal plus Kyle or Onuaku for T.Chandler

same. especially in this situation, he's not going to make some huge impact with 20 games left in the year.

Only if Chandler agrees to non-guarantee a huge portion of his remaining deal. Have to non-guarantee everything but around half of next year's salary.

Just another FYI after playing in the Trade Machine:

Ariza by himself will get you an $11 mill player.

    Wilson Chandler, Vucevic....

Ariza with Ennis and/or KJ gets you into the $12-13 range.

Holy ****! This is why Calvin Watkins said Lou is unlikely to pass physical before Friday. Morey is going all in!

In all likeliness Ennis/Nene/Wiltjer would be the ones being cut. Our value is likely KJ/Harrell + 2nd (IF needed).

Not understanding Shumpert. $10m per year with a player option and career 35% from 3. Hopefully that wasn't all before Lou.

Please add Chandler to the Lou deal Morely!

Throw Capela into that package and all of a sudden we can take back $14 million. Harrell instead of Capela? Around $12 million.

I like Ryan Anderson and Harrell on offense, but the team has a fundamental flaw at PF if our PF's can't defend or rebound imo.

I wonder if the Rockets are trying to be a third party in the Boston-Chicago trade around Jimmy Butler. Would Ariza be of interest to either of them? I would think so.

Sure would hate to lose Ariza, but it does appear that we are all in on this one.

Taj Gibson is going to be an UFA this year. He's on a favorable contract at 8.9 mil and expiring. Just throwing that out there.

3 teamer w/ Den and LAL
Rockets send out Brewer, KJ, Ennis, Wiltjer, 16 1st, and 16 2nd(s?)
Rockets bring in Lou and W Chandler

Denver has an open roster spot already. Would presumably cut/buyout Wiltjer.
