The thing is I would have been content with our record and would have still been preaching patience if I hadn't seen they ways this team loses. It's not just ugly, our play often just looks stupid (tried and true basketball term there??). I don't know who's to blame but our backcourt gets my vote. Most improved? Well give any team Steve and Yao over a 42+ game stretch and I bet they improve a lot. But we're barely a good team and we have fundamental problems with this team that go beyond youth and chemistry. I hate that this team has performed like this and that the front office is probaby going to make a deal from a position of weakness, simply because stupidity has run amok on this team. We're not the Clippers, we really try. We say the right things because we care. We work hard most of the time. We have a player who has as high a basketball I.Q. in the NBA and we're the dumbest team I've ever followed in any sport. Normally you blame the coach in this situation and many have. But honestly, our backcourt has the collective intellegince of Cheeze-Wiz and I don't think Rudy or CD really thought that it was that big a deal until they had to digest a half-season of watching Yao. The Steve/Cat show is closing. If I want to fire Rudy or CD I readily acknowledge I'd like to fire myself as a fan first, because I never thought it would have to come to this either. Cat lovers and M.A.S.H. guys unite and take over. It's your world, I'm only living in it.
