The Grizz are the hottest team in the NBA right now, they are playing amazing basketball, and winning a lot of games.

Look how good the Rocks have been playing and we are dropping back of them even more.

I would rather face the Kings than the Grizzlies, simply because the Grizzlies just find a way to get it done.

It is like that kid that you went to school with that never looked all that great but he always won. You would find yourself making excuses why you lost to him, but you never could beat him. That is what the Grizzlies remind me of.

I want us to play the Wolves as I think we have gotten inside their heads.

    You can't be serious...

The Kings are the last team the Rox would want to face in the 1st round. The Grizz have ZERO playoff experience which would be on par with the Rox. Much better matchup hands-down.

NO ONE want to face Kings in the first round. If Webber stays healthy and plays at the level of last two games, Kings may win it all this time. They have a good chance even without Webber.

Agreed. That one handed push shot he has is somewhat effective, but not at long range. A little awkward looking.

Granted, the Kings are not a good matchup either, but you have to look at matchups. IMO, the Rockets matchup better with the Kings than the Grizzlies (but not by a lot). People are focusing way too much on the lack of experience - that could be a good thing depending on how they let it affect them.

There is no way the Rockets would take the Kings on the 1st round rather than the Grizzlies..

    canoner, Tonayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, and bigballer:

All of you missed my point:

No **** that the Kings are good and better than the Grizzlies, but there are some teams that have other teams' number and I think the Grizzlies have our number.

Just like in the mid 90's with the Sonics. I don't care how good we are and how bad they were, they always beat us when it counted (except when we got Barkley).

Boy, this is fun - pushing people's buttons in this forum; I may do it more often.

    So do the Kings.

    Against the Grizzlies:
    71-79
    83-88
    record: 0-2; margin: -6.5

    Against the Kings:
    74-103
    94-99
    record: 0-2; margin: -17

I'll take us against Minnesota in a playoff matchup any day of the week over Memphis. Simply put: we do not matchup well against Memphis. Memphis is extremely underrated and is playing great basketball right now. Luckily for us, its not likely we'll play them.

I think we match up well with Memphis if we don't play like ass. Seriously, given how we played the two times this season, would we have beaten anybody on those nights. Some of it may be Memphis deep bench and atheltic ability...most of it is the Rocket's stupidity or just bad play. Play like they did against the Lakers (all three times with the exception of one 5+ minute spell), Minnesota, etc. and we'd take em down - of course, same can be said of all our loses.
