The 2018 and 2019 Rockets ran into a far tougher team in the playoffs than the 1994 and 1995 Rockets had to face.
I dont think a team of DG, injured curry, klay, 35 year old iggy, 33 year old livingston, 34 year old bogut, cook, jerekbo, bell, looney, mckinnie is tougher than what those rockets had to face
Lol forreal. There's no consolation prize for getting knocked out the playoffs by the Warriors for multiple years. That serms to be a thing here. Nobody cares about this Rockets team unless what they did got them a title. Plus I highly doubt that this team could beat any of the NBA champions in past years. They have no title to back up that claim. Could you imagine the damage that Duncan, Hakeem, Shaq, Malik Rose, Rodman, Kevin Willis, Ben Wallace, KG and others would do inside? If Capela got worked against GSW by Green and Kevon Looney, just imagine how his big soft ass would fare against those other bigs from the past on championship teams. Not to mention the perimeter defenders in Jordan, Pippen, Bowen, Maxwell, Kobe, Thomas and others. Folks need to take a step back. Rockets had a decent season but "2nd" best team ever assembled? No lol. They're not even in the conversation compared to past champions. This team wouldn't even get past the Stockton/Malone Utah Jazz.
They might not even be the Second best without winning a ring. I dun trust stats entirely. Basically ppl are saying Harden is the 2nd best assembled team because the rest of the team ain't.
