So when you watch a movie do you pay to see jsut the actor or the movie itself?

If "People" really like to see "Superstars" then they should have gone to Dallas last night to the All star game.

I'm a season ticket holder and I'm ready to see Mcgrady go.

What is it with this eternal lovefest for that man?!

But we always expected him to come back. That was the general consensus. This season is quickly turning into a disappointment. It irks me, because the years we should have been tanking (for BRoy), we played to win. WHAT THE ****. I wanted to see a rematch against Dallas or the Lakers. I don't care if the Rockets get bounced out.

    You play to win.

I've been saying these exact words for soooooo long that it's a lot of fun to watch it come to fruition.

Happy trails Tracy. I hope you resurrect your career elsewhere. It's time for young talent.

If the team was visibly tanking, and had become a cellar dweller for the 09-10 season I would continue to head up to the TC and watch the youngsters play.

Why do you think philly signed AI?

The astros could suck, but if clemens was pitching they could a get 40k crowd.

I will watch the rockets because I am a fan, but I think with a majority of people they are not there to see trevor ariza.

How is this season a disappointment when

    a) he isn't T-Mac anymore. He was given a chance to prove that he was back to his old self and he didn't in practice. He didn't care... His diva attitude was present but not the player. His teammates grew old of it quickly and for the sake of developing chemistry and letting Aaron, Carl, Trevor, etc. grow without him, they chose team over player...

    b) this team was only deemed good enough to win 35 games at most this season and they are on pace to win more than that?

Not that it matters, but I consistently sell my uppers on flashseats for list or greater when I can't attend. If you feel you got ripped off, you can probably get your money back plus a little bit for the trouble.

And why do you thnink philly, denver and detroit dropped AI?

i don't believe most ticket holders are there for one person, i think they're there to watch the rockets team.

they don't want to see anyone who is sucking for that matter.

As a season ticket holder I would think that you are passionate about your team and is prepared to ride through the up and downs with the team throughout the season, as opposed to buying a season ticket expecting coach to play a certain player.

Besides, this years Rocket has been the most entertaining squad being put together in recent years.

Look, whether or not we own season tickets or not we all "buy" the product that this Houston Rockets team sells. We all own jerseys, posters, trading cards, sweaters, pajama pants, socks, boxers, and such. We all buy into the product. To say that one fan is more or less shafted than another based on how much they spend is asinine. You don't like what they're selling? Try and get a refund. You can't? Don't ever buy the product again. It's that simple.

Look, at the end of the day the Rockets will lose more championships than they win. I'm a fan because I enjoy the experience, the wins and the losses. I find myself asking you, why are you a fan of the rockets?

Ok, as I stated in my first post i'm not a mcgrady apologist but yao should be a very short leash next season just like mcgrady got.

mcgrady was here for the 13 points in less than 30 secs.
mcgrady was here for the 22 straight wins or whatever we rockets made history for win streaks.

I understand the team is building around yao but the organization should be cut-throat with all super stars from here on out otherwise rick adelman should be next to go giving yao like his 4th new coach.

Yao's leash should be 'championship or bust' to live up to hakeem the dream at this point in his career. no more waiting for the "right pieces to build around" yao, it should be win or out the door.

My question is why do keep bringing up Yao when there's like 8 freaken months before we get to see him in action?
