And while Morey's at it, he should trade for Grant Hill, Allen Iverson, Jermain O'Neal, and bring SF3 back for the most star-studded lineup EVER!

I'm sure the season ticket sales would go through the roof.

You must not be a real B-Ball fan.

you must be the typical laker type fan that just watches when your team is winning championships but doesn't know what:

    A) A pick and roll is.
    b) boxing out means
    c) Zone Defense
    d) beautiful ball movement looks like

This is the NBA's fault though, they have sold the image of superstars instead of the the beauty of the game itself.

You know how many season ticket holders complained and called in the day the Rockets announced they were going to look to trade Tracy?

LOL... now I don't know basketball because I think it's stupid to have 23 million sitting at home, when it's clear it's needed.

I haven't missed a game in 5 years (no championships) but Im a typical Laker type fan?

OP: "I don't mean to talk about Tmac not playing guys, but Tmac is not playing. What is that all about? I mean, season tickets!"

    you know what's stupid?

When you don't rehab hard enough that you look like **** on the court and get BLOCKED by the rim on an open dunk.

then you say you need to take some time off to "get back in shape".

then when you hear you might get traded call the media (not your team) first and announce you're calling it a year.

Then, complain about not getting playing time after you rushed back to "elite status" to prove you deserve a contract NEXT year.

What about when he rushed back the year before?.. was it a contract year?

Remember he came off not 1 but 2 surgeries, which obviously limited his regular offseason routine.

And was excited about the addition of Artest and decided to try playing through it because he knew we had a chance at the title.

How can you blame a guy for trying to save his career?...his knee wasn't getting any better playing on it.

Indeed. A 23 million dollar player is obviously better than 5-6 million dollar players. And should be treated as such.

I'd also like to take this time to rant on the obvious injustice done to Brian Cook. The man is worth Scola and Landry combined from a salary standpoint. It's a travesty he's not getting PT from Adelman!!

When fans and supporters who bought season tickets, they were under the impression that McGrady would be returning to the Rockets as a major contributor to our game. When these tickets were sold no mention was made of the hatred, lies and revenge going on between the Rockets Club Management and McGrady.
If it had been known, beforehand , some wise thinking, financially well to do fans would be screaming to Les about the potential situation and some may have gone the whole way and refused to buy their usual season tickets. :p

That was funny, you think Yao will be treated as such? .. he's going to have to earn minutes behind Anderson and Dorsey right?

Tracy McGrady Is ‘Foaming At The Mouth’
    April 20, 2009 – 8:45 am by Tas Melas

Tracy McGrady might finally get out of the first round… while he’s on the injured list.

The Rockets have taken a 1-0 lead on the Blazers in the 1st round but The Mac has had season ending surgery and will enjoy his first series victory halfheartedly if it comes.

    His pick for the title:

Lakers. (Host: That easy, again?) It’s no knock on Cleveland, I think Cleveland’s gonna get there… Cleveland to me is really not that good. If you take what the Celtics did last year… You knew, they were either gonna get to the finals, or they were gonna win it. You can’t really say the same thing about the Cavaliers. Although, they had the best record in the league this year, a lot of people like, ‘Okay, they havin’ a great year, but we don’t know if they can win the championship.’ They really didn’t do anything on the road with the elite teams in the league, they lost, they had a bad record when they went to face the elite teams in the league. I think they’re a good team, but I don’t they’re ready to take the next step.”

Until he can prove he can make the Rockets better if he's in the lineup? Yes. I do believe that. Yao even mentioned how his surgery might take the Big Z route of limiting his minutes initially after his injury. And try to help the team in limited roles.

Holy crap! Isn't it amazing when a player thinks of how he can help the team rather than just his own stats? How a player understands that basketball is a team game rather than an individual game?

One of gazillion reasons why Rockets management and Houston fans won't ever turn on Yao the way they did T-Mac regardless of Yao's injury history. Because he's not a douchbag quitter.

The fact that there is some, let alone any truth in this statement makes me sad. :(

Smoothie, I feel your pain about being mis-lead. But this rag tag group with no All Stars is an overachieving bunch of animals who will not quit. Every time I have gone to a game this year, and every time I have watched on the tube, I have been proud of the way this team plays and glad the organization is in good hands.

at this point i am starting to feel they are giving everyone the shaft. we clearly have been playing subpar as of late and could need a shift, anything to change the way things are going. therefore if we do not trade mcgrady, we should most definetely play him, i dont care how butt hurt some of you are, do you want to win? or do you want to make a point? i go for winning, i am all for stuborness and making a point because well that's basically who i am, but this is my favorite team, and yao and mcgrady are my favorite players, i want to see them in action if at all possible...

therefore i will now take the brief time to blast the rockets organization for allowing yao to sit this long, he is now wearing a cast, put his butt on the court and tell him to man up. reconstructive surgery is for little girls

    jk

Lets be honest, majority of Rockets season tickets sales were made during the playoff run last year.

Rox Org: "Want to reserve a playoff ticket? Well, get your 09-10 season tickets NOW!"

This was before Yao got injured. Most people cared less about Tmac because we had Artest. I'm more pissed that the Rox shafted season ticket holders like myself by not reserving my seat that I sat in all freaking year.

Catering to fair weather fans to make a buck. Now fans who jumped on the bangwagon don't even show up to the games.
