Completely agree. Joker makes everyone around him better. Culture setter, pass first big man, improved substantially on defense over the last two years. All they need to do is choose the right time to cut to the rim and they will get found. I'm really not sold on Dillon Brooks though. However, if Ime can get him to take 3 shots a game, then this will be a good move. Even so, this messes up our offensive spacing and defenders will RWB him clogging up the lane for Green/VanVleet/KPJ/Sengun and double Jabari on the perimeter.
I love how everyone is pretending that any NBA player actually wants to come here. Face reality: they have to bribe mid tier players with LOTS of money because otherwise no one would. Actual NBA stars are trying to win championships. The Young players have to prove they can make the playoffs and be somewhat interesting before any good NBA player will want to move in.

Realistically, we had one of the worst teams in the league for 3 straight seasons. None of the 2nd team should be safe in their roles, so we can't fret over losing Tate, Martin, Washington, Garuba, Christopher... We have kept the high potential, young talent in tact - Green, Jabari, Eason, Sengun.
I’m extremely disappointed in today. Like, a low point in my fandom kind of disappointed. All I can say is that I hope there is something else coming, because as of right now this is pretty awful.
