I'm glad this trade didn't go through. Honestly i dont even know who Kleiza is, but Juwan is playing good and really helping this team since Yao went out. Second the backcourt is full, unless somebody like andre miller would come in. If James came, who would not play/play less. Would it be in the Rockets advantage ( i doubt ). Let's stay this way and try to trade sign players for next season. If everything clicks and healthy the Rockets can make some noise in the playoffs.
I would have taken the risk. It's worth the risk. This team WAS and IS aching for what Mike James brings. It's been killing me that it didn't get done. Juwan's role will decrease once Yao gets back. His shots attempts will take a hit and Chuck Hayes will play his previous role next to Yao. Luther Head is not ready to play with the pressure as a backup point guard on a team that wishes to contend in the west as was evident last night. goddammit, we should have pulled the trigger. *******, we ****ed up.
btw, does anybody know whats up with Chucky Atkins in Memphis? I've been checking the box scores and he seems to be out for some unknown reason. Since he's in the last year of his contract I'm hoping Memphis lets him go and he signs with the Rockets.
