It's fated. We just need to hope this is the part of the story where we finally overcome and send them home early as a final close-out to their dynasty and the roadblock they've been. Amen becomes a household name shutting Steph down.
Wouldn’t that be something if the Spurs won out… The Rockets draft pick from Phoenix just looks like it could get so much better! Still too early to say, but wow. Currently the Suns/Spurs are 1-1 for the season series. If Spurs win out, there is a chance! Next game is a Spurs vs. Suns on Friday.
Also, if we beat the Clippers and they go on to lose on Sunday vs Golden State(or at Sactown tonight), they could wind up as the 7th seed. I want no part of them in the first round.
I would love to see that happen, but Kerr and their media minions would cry their way into the refs calling every single hold on Amen and get him in constant foul trouble. That said, it would be sweet for us to finally end their run and jump start ours on their demise.
I'm just holding on to that being an awesome story and praying we don't get screwed by that shimmying little goblin again tbh
Minnesota will win out to end up with 49 wins. Denver most likely will win out to get to 50 wins. Golden State goes 1-1. Clips go 2-0 to finish with 50 wins. If we rest again (most likely) La goes 2-0 for 50 wins. Memphis goes 1-1 to end with 48. Lakers, Denver, Clippers 50 wins. Minnesota 49 wins GSW, Memphis with 48. GSW would be 7th seed and Memphis 8th seed. GSW in all probability wins the play-in. GSW is our first round opponent. I’m unclear what the seeding would be between Lakers, Denver, and Clippers. Minnesota would be the 6th seed. Could someone figure out 3-5 seeds with the above scenarios. The tie-breaker for 3 teams is a bit much for my feeble brain.
Nah it’s clippers vs rockets. Harden vs his old team . We taking them boys out . I think warriors are beating the clippers Sunday
Anybody know what the standings would be if 4th-8th all ended up at 49 wins ? That seriously could happen lmao hell lakers could go 0-2 and 3rd-8th seed would all have 49 wins lol
Whoops. How did I miss that. Makes it much easier then. OKC Rockets Lakers Denver Clippers Wolves GSW Memphis So both Lakers and GSW and refs in our bracket. Sucks. We need to win this one tonight.
Agreed. Just was going with the most likely scenario in my opinion. We should really try to win tonight. I don’t fear the teams so much as the refs. We are the 2nd best team in this conference and if the playing field was even we would be in the WCF with a chance to win the West without a doubt in my mind. Unfortunately the NBA is the most corrupt of the big 3 and that’s saying something.
”Playoff Machine” Or click basketball at the top if that doesn’t work Pick remaining 2 games, updates the standings Spoiler: Everyone gets 49 wins!
What about if 4-8 tied .. would it still be the same ? * edit: I just saw the red link lol I’m an idiot
Agree with this projection. It will be a very satisfying to beat gsw in the first round as the rockets' redemption over rockets' nightmare in the past decade. Rockets' start its dynasty over gsw demise.
According to this site, we may need to beat Denver in order to avoid Golden State. It's going to be interesting..
I want the Warriors. The team and the fans need to get over this PTSD/mental hurdle of being scared of them. Is it the ideal match up? Probably not/ But we can't keep hoping for the perfect match up where the opponent is completely banged up and we get a free series win and everything is rainbows and butterflys. I don't want that and it's just gonna continue the stupid narrative of "The Rockets are a fake #2 seed." Give us the Warriors so we can end the Curry era for good.
