Gay would be interesting defensively at the 4. Remember Ryan Anderson is from Sacramento. I can see the possibility of a trade now for Gay with a second trade if Anderson to Sacramento at the deadline.....especially if DMo flies the coop in a sign-and-trade.
Not a first, second or third option on a championship team, but I think he could fill an Iguodala roll with the right system.
Phoenix has been mentioned in two recent Kings podcasts [both mention Brandon Knight]. One of them suggests that a third team [76ers] needs to be involved to "grease the wheels". Miami is discussed as a mid-season trade possibility for Rudy [Heat free agent signings - Derrick Williams, James Johnson, Dion Waiters can't be traded until Dec. 15; Tyler Johnson (with consent) can't be traded until Jan. 15]. Hhahaha hollic with another bomb, Ryan is gone by the deadline..sure, a real possibility. Just like Rubio coming here for Brewer.
Another drawn out thread just like the Rubio one No substance to either. Sucks a fat one how these threads remain at the top.
What? Plenty of info suggests we are seriously considering pulling the trigger on Gay. Filtering out what's truthful and what isn't is a whole other story. I'd say there is some truth there.
Haha. Didn't say Ryan was hinge at the deadline. But there is the possibility of trading him later...as part of a package for Cousins....If we can't get it done this summer.

I really don't see how Rudy on the Rockets is going to help. Most likely a 1 year rental that will be meh at best. I don't want to see a repeat of 2015-16 and I'm sure others here don't either. So if we get him, make it only be for completely expendables and keep the expectations in check. But like the article states, they would be wise to wait to wait and see if they can get a better offer as the season progresses.
Like any trade, it depends what we have to give up. But I do like the opportunity to add as many scoring threats as possible. Under our new Pringles regime, to stand any chance at all, we must score relentlessly. So the more weapons, the better.
/\/\/\ A player that has voiced his wanting to leave is a CANCER to the Locker room and will be traded. We have a PG and they need a PG. We don't need GAY on this roster but it would be nice to have him. A First would be appropriate unless you are trading Brewer+KJ , which honestly doesn't make sense for the KINGS. You guys never consider the OTHER MANY FACTORS that influence a trade....SMH..That's a fair trade for a player that doesn't want to be there and giving them a PG when they have 0 on the roster worth a damn.
The guy averaged around 20pts awhile back. Why couldn't we use a scoring 3 who can slide over to 4? He can create of the dribble and score on anybody. Put him at the 4 and he'll be a problem. He's better than DMo and I'll take him over any of our PF's outside of maybe Beasley
