I think the league, or at least most of the league, have already adjusted to Harden. The Knicks have played the Rockets twice and they failed to slow him both times. Memphis most likely had a game plan to stop Harden when we first played them, and it worked. However, this time around it looks like Harden had adjusted to their defense.
You'd have to be fair and take them from every team. That would probably put the Spurs at #30, nark nark nark.
Fixed that for you....just finished watching the Knicks game. One bad call against Melo and the next 3 minutes is invulnerable Super Melo Bros time. Nothing the Knicks did was wrong. Pisses me off.
7th adjusted to opponent strength. Very good if you ask me. Our offense is good and defense is average (not bad).
I don't take too much stock into the Rockets defense ranking simply because they generate a lot of possessions and so the opponents get to shoot a lot as well. I don't bide into the Rockets defense ranking, i believe they're way better. They're one of the best team help defense in the league i think...
Defensive wins championships The Rockets are exciting offensive team to watch but I dont expect any more than a 1st round playoff exit unless the defensive tightens up.
Defense alone never won championships. Almost all championship teams were top 10 in BOTH offense and defense. And nobody is expecting the Rockets to be championship contender this year.
Teams that score more than the opponent win championships. SSOL suns were a cheap shot bob hit from going to the finals.
Yao Ming running is the funniest thing in the world lol. Love the guy but seriously its so good, thats like 14 seconds of the shot clock.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to conference finals after a few adjustments on the defensive end. The lack of experience will most likely hurt when it counts though.
