Rockets should thank Former Owner David Stern of the Pelicans for rejecting the Chris Paul Trade. Rockets traded those players for James Harden.
except maybe les gets bored sooner and sells the team to an owner before Tillman had the funds therefore the Rockets long term future is much brighter.
Depends what you mean by saying point guard. Playing 1 on 1 Rucker park? Yeah Harden is better. Who gives his team more chances of winning championship? I take prime CP. Defense, controlling the flow, tactical mind, getting others going etc
Harden just put on a streak of all time PG performances when he debuted for the Nets. It was like nothin anybody had seen since Magic or Stockton at their very best.
Look at how CP turned the OKC and PHX franchises around once he got there, don't think Harden can have that kind of impact.
Seriously? Look at what happened when Harden left the Rockets, we're literally the worst team on the league while with him we never missed the playoffs. Look what we did before he was here. He absolutely raised us faaaar more than CP3 has any team, ever.
But we didn't win anything with Harden. (Half joking). What if we got Gasol, tanked and drafted Antentokounmpo, Embiid and Booker. Or whatever, I can't remember who went what year. HeadExplode.gif Just saying. It's crazy to think how much one player being taken by another team in one draft can have such rippling consequences in NBA history. What if the Bulls took Hakeem and we took Jordan? What if Minnesota drafted Curry instead of Flynn? What if Memphis drafted Harden instead of Hasheem Thabeet? Let's go for it in this draft.
I think prime CP advanced every series he stayed healthy. His issue wasn't his level of play, clutchness or anything. Dude is just a midget that broke down physically
