A wing man can't win it by himself. Shaq's shadow loomed larger than you think it would. It prevented alot of driving into the paint. But enough of this. This trade is just a sign that we want to get out of mediocrity. Piling assets and not using them is just not right. ATM I can't think of a better player wanting to come to HOU himself or a partner who is willing to trade a Dwight type of player to us. Gasol hasn't even played so I have to watch him play before further assessment.
Fk it all, go for broke. Trade for Gasol, sign Nene. Use one of Nene or Gasol as the centerpiece for a trade for Howard. Hope to sign D-Will in FA next offseason. (I wish..)

Stop with the Lopez garbage. When Morey gets Gasol and signs Nene, he is going to attempt to get Dwight by flipping Gasol, talent, and picks to Orlando. He'll offer Orlando everything but Lowry and Nene to get Dwight. That way he can flip Lowry to NJ for DWill when DWill figures it out that he wants to be in Houston to play with Dwight and Nene.
Dwight is trying to get to NJ before this trade is consumated so he can get Nene to sign there with him. I doubt that Orlando is so stupid as to accomodate him. We are going after Dwight when this Gasol deal is done. Watch it happen!

Because he's a good player. But they're not going to have the opportunity. Orlando is going to have to rebuild because Dwight is leaving. So, they're going to have to move as much salary out as they possibly can and get as many young players and picks and expirings in as they possibly can to rebuild, while tanking this lockout shortened season. We are going to be in the hunt!
