If it were Bynum we better pull out Kmart or Scola and the 1st rounder, in a shortened season of back to backs I doubt he would last half the season.
I'm with hsf09 call me krazy 2 for sum reason but if it wasn't for his injuries what other problem would anybody have about getting Bynum
I like the idea of getting Bynum and flipping him immediately for DH12. Who cares if he won't promise to sign? We have his best friend here and once the gang gets back together they won't want the good times to stop.
So let me get this straight - before we were worried, that LA might get Howard with Bynum and a couple of draft picks. Now we are worried, that we get Bynum, who we might turn into Howard? I don`t say Bynum is the answer - I say Bynum is a young player in a superstar body that is injury prone. But if we somehow could get over that, he should become a top 2 center in the league. but the "if" is probably too big. Still, Bynum would at least somehow present a future for us, while Gasol will only be a 3 year window.
Bring in Bynum... sign Nene. Then ship Bynum + whatever (do not trade Lowry or Lee) to Orlando for Dwight Howard. Then we would have ourselves a contending basketball team.
And his knee is that of a 38 year old. Pass...we already went through with this with Yao and McGrady. Bynum is even more injury prone than Yao!
That's the point. An injure-prone big man coming to Houston sounds like a horrible combination. Yao all over again...
I just dont see any reason why LA would do this since its part of their plan to get Howard with Bynum. I dont think Otis SMith is just that stupid to trade Dwight for Pau.
do you not remember yao? He's useless if he's in an expendive italian suit on the bench for most of the season
