Adelman is not making good choices at this point, Artest destroyed the Jazz in the 1st meeting this year in overtime. When he posted up nobody could stop him. All he did was shoot 3's. He reminds me of Sheed. Gifted post player, but spends too much time shooting 3's.
I think its a little premature to conclude that the Rockets can't beat the Jazz. This is our fourth game in five nights, the second of a back to back, and on the road against a good team that is currently on a winning streak. Of course we do not match up well against them but using this game as an indicator of how we will always play against them in the future is a fallacy.
well that's what I been saying as well, but I don't think AB is the problem against the Jazz, its Yao, he did have a good game , but he gave it right back by giving Boozer a great game
Keep this thread. I want people to know that it's probably better to face the Jazz as we have the past 2 seasons... This way, we can prove to TMac that the Rockets were better off without him in the first place. There is only room to grow. Mark my words.
I don't want the Rockets to be labeled not only 2nd round virgins, but also another team's ***** (see Spurs vs. Suns, Cavs vs. Wizards). Jazz are a tough opponent, but they aren't the only one they might face. Portland (who everyone here seems to think they could easily beat) and San Antonio come to mind.
I think the Rockets can beat the Blazers and Spurs, and have a better shot at the Lakers w/o Bynum than beating the Jazz
Last two seasons are things of the past. This team is not the same team that lost those series. We have three different starters now compare to those previous playoff series.
Rockets can't beat the Refs, BTW, the rockets have handled them well at TC and the Rockets have another chance at them soon
What I'm saying is there is no free ride in the first round. The only playoff teams I feel comfortable thinking the Rockets can beat are the Suns and possibly the Mavs.
