    Great jerseys! I love 'em.

Something I find interesting is that I have been in school for 3 weeks here in NY, and I have already seen three people wearing the pajamas(1 Hakeem, 1 Barkley, and 1 Francis).

I LOVE THE JERSEYS!! its really worth the wait!!! but, i thought the shoulders are cut more thin.. not like those sixers jerseys.. more like the lakers' shoulder cut.. see the shoulder cuts of the unis in this pic on steve and yao? its narrower than the jersey's on eastbay.
[IMG] but nothin really compares to the red/gold era! i miss those jersey's.. everytime i wear my olajuwon/stevie throwback red/gold jerseys, it makes me proud to be a houston rockets fan.

If you look at the nba live screen shots, the shoulders appear NARROW and the bands move more closely to the neck, instead of straight up and down like in these jerseys. So which is it,the 76er look or the narrow look?Tim,Jeff, anyone?

What's with Eastbay? How come all the logos, letters, numbers are all photoshop onto the uniform/jersey/shirts ect? DOn't they have an actual thing or they are trying to make it look nicer with photoshop so the logos/numbers/letters stand out more and don't get wrinkle up with the uni?

Do any of yall on this forum even wear jerseys. Or ever buy anything athletically related. (Eastbay) . This is pretty funny to see people asking if this shiz is legit.

And those numbers are too straight. They need to be more rounded. A different classic font woulda looked tight. Maybe. And i was saying in the beginning that those vest cuts was gonna look like dump.

Eastbay wouldn't post something non-legit. Now I just have to figure out whether I want the home or the away. I think the home looks better.

A couple of notes. They will have the wide shoulder from what I've seen. At least, that is what I saw. They will probably have a narrow shoulder also but I'm not sure which will be on the floor. This is the basic design of the jersey, though.

The shorts do have the R on them. You guys have seen the screen shots and they are pretty conclusive. Nothing we see should really be a surprise at this point.

On the Rockets vs. Houston thing, that frankly irritated me as well. I even asked them at one point, "After all the money the city is spending on your new building, don't you think you could AT LEAST put Houston on the away uniforms?"

My guess is that the NBA is interested in branding TEAMS and not CITIES, which, IMO, is lame as hell. The city of Houston deserves the name on there somewhere, but, oh well.

    My personal opinion...

I'm glad someone put them side by side with the others. IMO, they really hold up next to them. I like them a lot.

I REALLY like the warm up shirts, but I'd like to see them in black. Maybe they'll do a jersey in black???

WOW, I really like the new jerseys!

The Video Game screen shots don't do them justice. I think in the Cuttino Mobley jersey we saw earlier from that ad, the elipses were WHITE and now they are grey. I like the grey, very cool. Also the red color is darker than I thought it might be which is great. I love the home jerseys as well. Normally I prefer the road "colored' jerseys of most teams and feel the white home jerseys tend to be very bland but I really like those home jerseys as well.

I like how the jerseys are clean but at the same time have a lot of style.

As for them not having "Houston" on them. To be honest, I really could care less. As an "out of town" Rockets fan (although one that lived there for 10 years) for me it is more about the TEAM than the city.

At any rate. I really like the new jerseys. I have to say my feelings toward them have risen higher after seeing these photos versus the video game images we saw before. And no question do I love these jerseys over the McDonalds & Pajama uniforms we wore in the past.

    Good work Tim!

I'm not a big fan of red & silver... looks odd. But the white & red ones look pretty sweet. Guess this answers why the free throw semi-circle was silver on the Rockets' new floor.

I'm hoping the jerseys will have the same cut as the Lakers jerseys. It seems like the ones Eastbay is selling look like replicas. I know thats the jersey, but the cut can still be different.

And as Mr. Mooch mentioned, that #3 looks hideous

I agree about the red tees pictured above. I want one of those for Christmas. :)

Generally agree with folk that I prefer the home jerseys to the road. Not a big fan of the numbers. My reaction is 'not bad,' but I think I'll like them more when I see them worn on the court.

the 3 does look like something that came off a type-writer or an adding machine.

someone care to photochop it to make it look better?
