Unless there is a total collapse of either the Grizzlies or Blazers, only two of these three teams will make the playoffs. Who do you think it will be?

Rockets: (2-2 vs. Jazz) (2-1 vs. Mavs)

    vs. Bulls
    vs. Thunder
    @ Mavs
    vs. Suns
    vs. Lakers
    @ T'wolves
    vs. Kings

Jazz: (2-2 vs. Rockets) (1-1 vs. Mavs)

    vs. T'wolves
    @ Suns
    vs. Spurs
    vs. Clippers
    @ Nuggets
    vs. Mavs
    @ Lakers

Mavs: (1-1 vs. Jazz) (1-2 vs. Rockets)

    @ Pistons
    @ T'wolves
    vs. Rockets
    vs. Grizzlies
    @ Clippers
    @ Jazz
    vs. Spurs

Looking purely at the schedule, I'd say the Rockets and Mavs will, but the Rockets have been nothing if not full of surprises this season.

I think the Rockets have the easiest schedule with 5 home games and just 2 road games, and they only play one legit playoff team (Thunder)

I still believe the Rockets can move up to sixth place.

It will be between Utah and Dallas, one of them will miss the playoffs. Looking at their roster, I will say, Mavericks as hard as they play and try, they will miss the playoffs.

    Which means we're f***ed.

But seriously, we seem to have the best path; but I ain't's gowanns to count my chickens just yet. The Rockets have a habit of playing down to the competition (said Captain Obvious) and anyone not named Harden or Beasley knows they're trade fodder' certainly Dwight's effort has been nothing exemplary.

Still, if they have any pride at all, and if Harden stays somewhat healthy at worst, we should be okay. But, again....we get there when we get there.

All 3 might make it.. I can see the Grizzlies losing the last 7 games.

They actually could, I just now looked at their schedule:

    vs. Raptors
    @ Magic
    vs. Bulls
    @ Mavs
    vs. Warriors
    @ Clippers
    @ Warriors

If Warriors are smart, they should try to keep Memphis in the 8th spot.

Jazz and Mavs play each other as their penultimate game of the season?

That's going to be one to watch.

If rockets can win 1 of next 3, they'll make the playoffs. They will go 4-0 in the last 4.

    42-40 gets the rockets in

Bulls and Thunder decide our season. We split those games we gun it for 6th seed

We lose both were not making playoffs

That game where the mavs let the Jazz tie it at the buzzer and then win in OT on Gordon Hayward shot at the buzzer is looming large now.

I would be shocked honestly if they won 4 straight at the end. This team has choke written all over it. Dwight and his free throws, Harden and his defense, Brewer as the invisible man, etc.

I'm preparing for the nightmare scenario of Dallas and Utah getting the spots. It woud be an appropriate punctuation mark on the season.

I actually kinda wanna see the Mavs make the 8th spot. First, I'd rather see them get swept by GS than them have a slightly better draft slot. Second, I'd like to see them enjoy some success without CP playing..
