Looks like NJ is the winner of the reported deal so far. They get two 1s and that will help them land Melo.

Why would an undrafted rookie on a bad team net a 2nd round pick?

Budinger is already on the bench.

Because the guy is extremely talented. The guy was a great defender in college and could replace Shane as our primary wing defender. If it works out for the rockets, williams could become our defensive stopper with a very nice offensive game.

There was reportedly a lot of interest in him during the Rockets training camp. Budinger comes off the bench currently.. now, he'll be nailed to it.

i used to call him dwade lite coming out of college. 2012 first doesn't sound too shabby to acquire him.

    [Trade Reaction] Terrance Williams

Simple question: fan of the deal?

The Rockets gave up a 2012 1st rounder for Terrance Williams.. which 2012 pick it was is unclear at the moment.

Bud is history, unless they are going to wait on him until Battier leaves for FAgency, he is going to part of a bigger deal come deadline time...if not sooner.

Wow the Nets got 2 first round picks for a former mid-lottery pick who hasn't played all that well and is stuck in their doghouse due to disciplinary issues? They make out like bandits.

I say preliminary yes. Would be ideal if the pick was the Knicks', but either way it's a nice deal. I really hope he can learn some professionalism from Battier.

I think sadly you're right, wish he'd take Budinger's spot though

It will be the Knicks pick, pretty sure at least. Haven't seen enough of the guy to be certain but if he is Ron Ron light...I'm down with it!

Too soon. This is one of those deals that needs time to be properly evaluated.
